Sunday: Lawrence Books
The weather was infinitely better today so we were able to get out and about a bit more, or at least a bit more pleasantly, than yesterday. It may not look it here but it was even sunny a few times.
We took care of house stuff, so that everything looks good for the holidays. I went for a walk in the afternoon and, although I didn’t stop off at Lawrence Books, there was a slight book-theme to it as I took some books to the local free library (dropped off 4, came back with 2 - which is quite a good result, I think).
Generally, we have been ok during the pandemic and accepted it for what it is, but we did hit a bit of a brick wall this morning. We’re just totally fed up with plans falling through, not being able to see people, friends and family being kept apart, not being able to travel and losing money, or having to fight for refunds, for things that have been cancelled. But it seems pointless to complain since we’re all affected. That said, we all need to get it off our chest too.
