Charlie Drake

I know it's a bit sad when you name ornaments. Charlie has been in this house for more than 20 years. Usually in the main bedroom, but he does get moved about occasionally. He is made out of wood and brightly painted. The fact that he is wooden, has helped his chances to survive all these years. Many of our china and glass ornaments have disappeared after apparently committing suicide or self mutilation during a mad dusting purge by Mrs D. "The head just fell off!" is a common complaint when I either notice the item in the bin or spot Super Glue on her fingers where she has tried to repair it.

I'm still suffering from a severe bout of Man Flu so I won't be going outside to take any pictures today. Better luck tomorrow.
