Winter solstice.

Because the sun leaves the northern hemisphere for the longest period of the year tonight it was important to give my lovely green man a new crown to keep him warm.

I also used some green decorations for inside the house before going for a fantastic walk with RF, Murphy and Willis. We revisited a walk we started in the summer from Cheesefoot Head. Back then it was too hot for the dogs, today it was perfect for them, cold but glorious sunshine.

We walked for longer than anticipated and missed doing a couple of things we'd planned, I went straight home afterwards to complete some chores before the evening.
