Two herons in a tree.

Got a no 36 up to the Dean Bridge so that we could meet up with Shandonner for an amble through the Dean Gardens. It was lovely - more people around than on Friday but still v quiet. Then walked down through Stockbridge and along the Rocheid path to Canonmills, where F was able to pick up a useful bus home. We walked a bit further, down to Warriston, where we didn't see the kingfisher but did see two herons in a tree. Every time I got one in the frame the other one ducked out of sight - you can just see them both here, the one on the right looking as if he's in a huff and beak of the one on the left visible against the tree trunk.

Later had a Zoom call with P in Farnham and then a surprisingly good fish curry.
