Yesss!

The sky cleared and I got a great view of Jupiter and Saturn. I went up on the tops before the sun had gone down to set up and get sharp focus using the Moon. It was blowing a gale and bitterly cold. After a few test shots my battery ran out and I had to head home for a fresh one. As I drove into my street I could see the planets through a gap between the houses! So I was able to finish the session from the comfort of home. This is an overlay of two shots, one to bring out Jupiter's Gallilean Moons and the other to show Saturn's rings. The actual conjunction is tomorrow evening.
