Beach walk

A short walk around the beach and saltmarsh at Cley this morning.  The stormy weather of the last couple of weeks has had quite an effect on the beach; normally there is a gentle slope down off the shingle to the sandy edge but today the shingle was piled up into a ridge about six feet high along the length of the beach.

Another extra added as I still have eleven to use up; a curlew feeding in one of the shallow pools of the saltmarsh behind the beach.
