Fieldfare

The weather today has been a lovely fine day with sunshine se we made the most of the nice morning . We took a drive along part of the new Eastern bypass to check it out as it opened yesterday afternoon after lots of delays in getting it completed .We wanted to see if it was worth using it when I go to Metheringham rather than going through town. Maybe a little quicker .
Afterwards we went and parked up near Fiskerton and enjoyed a nice walk along the waterway Cycle track heading towards Bardney. Lovely blue sky see extra with a slight cool breeze and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. A lovely goosander and a Little Egret and plenty of Thrushes including some lovely Fieldfares . The Fieldfares didn't like to hang around to have their photo taken but this one tried to hide. I am happy with this shot which I had to use manual focus as the camera wanted to focus on the branches .
Back home for a late lunch just a snack and watching football on TV. We didn't get a film watched last night but fingers crossed we will tonight , no Work tomorrow as I have another day off work .
