Christmas cancelled

Yesterday's announcement has really put a spanner in the works for our Christmas.  Although both we and our two daughters are in tier 2, we do not live within range for a one day trip as they live 207 miles and 310 miles away respectively.  It will therefore be just the two of us.  Of course all their presents are here and some are not postable even if there were time so to do.  Also I made them each a Christmas cake to take back with them which will have to stay here for the time being (unless I eat them!).  Disappointingly I will not get the chance to see and to photograph our new grand-daughter.  Hopefully I will be able to take some pictures of her before she is walking but, for the moment, we will have to make do with facetime snaps.

The most important thing is that we are all healthy.
