Snow Melting

Even at 1600m there little left as we had the southern foehn wind for a couple of days. Still it was good to get out and test a pair of walking crampons and feel very secure on the icy sections of our walk. Definitely to be added to the rucksack at the moment. My walking companions, Wildmint and Linds are buying them tomorrow! Definitely no skiing in the current conditions and covid climate.
