Grandchildren

We had our Christmas lunch today with 8 grandchildren, 2 daughters and 1 daughter in law, son and SIL. One couple stayed in Sydney. We weren’t sure if there was going to be a complete lockdown in ‘greater’ Sydney where they live but so far so good. The Covid numbers increased again and most state borders are closed which has caused travel chaos especially just prior to Christmas. 

The kids had a fabulous time mainly swimming in the pool. It was cloudy but warm enough for swimming. Each family took something to share so it was a lovely relaxing day. We are all very tired tonight though and won’t be out of bed for long. The blip is one of the few I had time to take, they were playing scrabble at the time.
