Symphony Hall

This evening we went to a CBSO concert which we enjoyed very much. They played three pieces, none of which we knew. Elgar's Falstaff and Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2 were both excellent, but the highlight for me was Respighi's Pines of Rome. The last movement is absolutely glorious.
