In need of a drying

The storm has been railing us all day. There is water everywhere and it is lashing outside at the moment. A little further north has flooding and a poor soul drowned when sucked into the stormwater drain. Today was visits to the nursing home for Hamish and Hannah and then a walk down Nobbys breakwall to watch the surfing in the harbour. All the beaches are closed so they moved Surfest to the harbour, can you believe that? I left my camera in the car and just as well because I was ringing wet by the time I got back.

On the way back from the nursing home I saw this darter. They really have the most lovely feathers on the back don't they. One for blipbigyear.
