Mesmerised

I could see the sea from my window this morning, as promised. I always forget how mesmerising the sea is and I enjoyed a good bit of time staring out of the window this morning.

We had a walk along the coastal path to Beer including larking about at the water’s edge and generally feeling like a child. Beer was delightful. We walked back to Seaton, grabbed the Saturday papers and some snacks as the light began to fade.

I didn’t take the fact that there was to be an announcement this evening too seriously, as BoJo so far has been pretty gung-ho about the 5 day arrangement. I feel sad not to be seeing family, especially the littlest ones, but sadder for those who will now be spending Christmas alone.
