We got up early (for a Saturday) to pick up a car club car to declutter the flat a little. We got to drive one of the electric cars which was very nice even though it took a little while to get going. Walk into town to Edinburgh Bargain Store to add new clutter. Well, actually storage boxes for sentimental clutter. 

We traditionally go the Royal Lyceum on Christmas Eve to see their fantastic Christmas plays. Unfortunately, this isn't possible this year for obvious reasons. Today, we got some of their Christmas magic streamed live to our living room. 4 short plays with Christmas stories. They were thought provoking, emotional and absolutely wonderful. Some of their Christmas stories are freely available for viewing. I can't wait to be able to go back to the theatre.

The pandemic got turned up a notch today. It's kind of strange as I suspected this might happen. It will be a while until we are out of the woods. The pandemic runs its course and, although partly due to our collective lifestyle, I don't blame our government all too much. We might have a totally inept government, however that doesn't seem to make too much of an impact when it comes to the pandemic. The rest of Europe faces the same situation. But Brexit on top of this - really?
