Surprise, surprise

We were only supposed to be meeting up with Adam and Zara (Mr HB's #1 Grandson, Partner and Poppydog) at Coombe Park, Coventry this morning but after meeting up I thought A was acting a little strange only to turn round and see the other three grandchildren and other halves had turned up, all in different cars.  It was the best Christmas surprise ever and so lovely to see them all.  Coombe Abbey Park is a wonderful place in which to keep socially distanced so unlike the Pigeons we were able to enjoy each others company whilst keeping to the rules.
We had a bracing walk around the extensive park grounds which Poppydog appreciated, had a takeaway coffee, exchanged C presents and all too soon it was time to say goodbye.  Ours was the shortest journey home but others were travelling further distances.

Extras:  Grandchildren socially distancing with Pd, and  Jake, looking silly, but still gorgeous, in his Mother's hat, scarf and oversized sunnies!!
