Christmas celebration with Jon

We've really missed our friend Jon over the past 10 months, and normally we would be looking forward to seeing him a lot over the Christmas holiday. Since this is not possible, today we hosted an outdoors lunchtime Christmas celebration with him, complete with Champagne (blipped).

We also saw Paddy and Caitlin briefly when they popped over to borrow a drill. This gave us an opportunity to pass on our congratulations to Caitlin, who was offered a new job yesterday.

My main activity of the day, however, was to write a blog post about the event that Bruce and I hosted on 19th November.

Exercise today: short walk to the shops.
