Hospital bell
My chemo in Orkney.
Note the hi-tec bell by my side.
The story behind this is that the Macmillan Suite in the new Balfour Hospital was taken for the special Covid Unit earlier this year because it is completely self-contained and has a separate entrance away from the main entrances to the hospital. In the meantime the Macmillan Chemo Room was moved into the Physio Room and old technology has been employed to give each patient a call-bell.
The good news is that in the meantime the Covid Unit has been mostly unused.
