Mistletoebird

Gratitude Project Day 354.

Today I am grateful for a pair of Mistletoebirds that appeared in the bottlebrush tree outside our bedroom window this morning. First time we’ve seen them at Oakdale although we’ve seen them at Sawn Rocks before. No photo of the real thing as my camera with the long lens was at work. But I’ll be prepared the next time they turn up!

Waiting in suspense to see whether our trip to visit Candice in Brisbane for Christmas will go ahead with the COVID outbreak in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. No border closure at this stage so hopefully we make it!!
