Advent windows...

Parents’ village Hambledon, is doing the neighbourhood advent calendar thing all down its High St.  A little girl whose house is up the hill asked if they could borrow Mum and Dad’s window so they are now number 22. Not sure what happens on the actual day but hope it’s festive.   Went over at lunch time and installed Dad’s birthday present of a stick on window bird feeder. I brought a ditsy bottle of champagne, three miniature glasses and some Heston carrot pastry mince pies.  But didn’t tell dad about the alien carrot as I didn’t think he’d approve. They were very good!
