The last day of term, but the beginning of GP placement! Really feel for patients at the moment. The man I spoke to today said he gets very nervous about the thought of phoning the GP - nerves which make his Parkinson’s symptoms even worse. So he did very well - especially considering that he phoned the GP telephone, which was held up to the GP computer, connected to my phone via Zoom!

Still, Granda thought that a 3.30pm finish was too early for me - so he gave me a thorough history of all his medical diagnoses...growing old is not for the faint of heart! Yet despite feeling the effects in nearly all of his organs, he remains so loving, and rooted in the love of God. We had a wonderful time, with the pair of them reminiscing their first bicycles, their first family car journeys, their first few meetings - spending time with them is pure joy!
