Speed and temperature

The date was December 18. The temperature outside the car before driving home this evening was a balmy 15 degrees. It’s exactly one week until Christmas Day and because it’s the last Friday before the break it would normally have been a wild night of Christmas partying in town. Tonight the A&E departments will breathe easier. The emergency services will have a quieter night. The Covid cloud’s silver lining?
