Chaffinch

Took us most of the morning to do the weekly shopping today. The roads were much busier than usual and the supermarket have had a refit so everything has moved and it took ages to find everything. With only one more smaller shop to do next Tuesday for the fresh veg it was good to get this out of the way.  The tree is up, the house cleaned and decorated and now we can relax a little before the big day. Not that it will be a big day this year as we are just joining my parents for lunch on Christmas Day and then not staying long like we normally do.  Keeping it small and as safe as we can.  
I have also been trying to put together a bit of a quiz for when we get together on Zoom with hubby’s family in London but it is not going so well so far.  It’s a cross between Tenable and Richard Osman’s House of Games......just not sure it will work so well on Zoom.  

Another wet day so apart from the shopping we didn’t venture out. We have seen a lot more chaffinches this winter than normal so today’s blip is one of these colourful birds.
