Close up
OK, so this new camera I got, the Canon 6D mark II, was a very good deal. I bought a body only at a sale price, and had to wait weeks and weeks to get it (Covid, remember). Didn't really matter about a lens because we have a couple left from the days when we had the 6D Mark 1.
It was my good luck that Canon were offering a free bonus lens. Had to wait a few weeks more to get it, but it turns out that it's a 1:1.8, 50 mm fixed lens.
It's very fast, and very good. Can be used as a macro lens at a pinch.
The image of the salvia was a bit of an experiment. There's an agapanthus in extras.
