The stone mystery revealed

Two weeks ago I posted a Blip saying that I was gathering stones for a project. I can now reveal what this is: the children from the local primary school have each painted a stone to show something that they associate with Christmas. They then placed their stones on the wall surrounding our local church. Normally, they would walk round the corner from their school to the church for a Christmas service which they would lead and to which parents, other relatives and friends would be invited. Sadly, because of the Covid restrictions, they cannot do that this year so the painted stones are taking the place of the Christmas service.
