Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb.....
Today was the start of the rhubarb festival in Wakefield.
Thought I'd blip the piles of beautiful succulent stems at the Oldroyds stall - the biggest grower, but all the rhubarb was cellophaned into packs and looked pretty spindly and wimpy.
So sadly I was reduced to blipping this sad little bud-ling potted up on a stand.
On a plus note, it was terrific working with my brilliant eldest son Alex today, who just happens to cook a mean al-fresco bacon buttie.
On the plus side again, it was wonderful catching up with foodie friends.
On the downside it was bludy perishing and kept trying to snow.
Weather warning on for tomorrow too.
Terrific.
Not.
Knackered.
Night night all xx
