Approaching Tenerife from the West
This is all I had time for today, a quick snap of Tenerife as we approached it from the West at 35,000ft. I used the new compact here (Panasonic DMC-LX5) and I'm not really happy with the way it handled the light, far too blue for my liking. I will need to check my settings when I have time in the morning. In reality the island from this side looked very green.
As I was up at 5am this morning and only back home now at 1050pm I'm not really inclined to do anything with the image except for a quick crop. I would rather now put my feet up and enjoy a large G&T.
Sorry I'm behind looking at your own images, I will catch up over the weekend.
UPDATE: Had another quick look at the compact camera this morning and discovered I had inadvertently selected some colour option, hence the deep blue cast. Oops! I've attempted to remove the Blue cast and the inset image is more realistic of the view at the time.
