At the Culvert...

Maisie and I did a much longer walk than usual early this morning. We walked some past favorite tracks. There were lots of rabbits running around and big stretches of long dry grasses...no good for Maisie’s coat. There is water running in upstream stretches of the Taylor River as seen here at the culvert. This viewpoint is looking upstream towards the distant Wither Hills. Keith, accompanied by Granddaughter Emily, flew back from Wellington late afternoon. Keith thoroughly enjoyed his two days away. Emily helped me with some digital technical stuff this evening. I love having her here ... a breath of fresh air.
