Redfern Station

Caught the train from Redfern this morning intending to blip the striped exterior and finagle it for today’s abstract challenge, but in the end preferred the near symmetry of this one. The colours suggest the black (people), red (earth) and yellow (sun) of the Aboriginal flag, plus there’s a couple of rock art-style outlines.

If BlipCentral is correct, this is number 300. I was hooked from the start on the insights into everyday lives around the world, the amazing talent of so many blippers and, sadly, the statistics. Geometry, maps and numbers appeal.

The unexpected highlight is getting to know - I was going to say virtually, but it doesn’t seem all that virtual - so many interesting new people.
