Not the Bike Shed

This was an 23.36h 'oh s**t, no photos taken' photo. It had been an intense day. Got a big funding application in for 5pm with about 8 mins to spare.

Had cycled that day - took car to the bodyshop in Musselburgh and cycled back home.

I realise how lucky we are to have a spare room that doubles up as a bike store. We are also lucky enough to have a garden and there is a bike shed there but it is a bit of a faff to put them in and out and someone's bike always has to be at the back yet we all use them.

They are so easily nicked that you do end up feeling they are safer indoors but they do take up a lot of space (which we are lucky to have!). Course, four bikes take up about the space of a car, indeed less and people rarely complain about cars taking up so much space although they do complain about parking).

Wandering thoughts. Point is, it's not easy to have a bike, certainly not a good one and ability to store them inside is a luxury/privelige not open to all.
