Bittersweet day

Today is that day that I can see clearly as if on film two major life events. I can almost live through them minute by minute, the memories never go away but they get easier to live with. One happened at 6.15am 36 years. ago in Guys hospital, the birth of Matt.  The other the death of Simon my husband at 9pm 9 years in Blackburn hospital, and Matt was with me. 
Today I went for breakfast with Matt and family. It was lovely. I made a snowman bauble with Sahara in the extra. .August is a delight, very happy once he's been fed. He doesn't look too happy in the photo!
