Annual tree decoration blip

This year's ornament arrived at 07:00 with our younger granddaughter. She is here for Wednesday childminding. Her dad, who brought her to the house without coming further than the front door, also brought us a tree ornament made by the 5 year old. Here it is beside the jolly robin Christmas card which she made at school. It's printed with her name, and the name of her school, on the back. We were also given a copy of her P1 school photo in which she looks so grown up. The wee ones aren't getting nursery photos this year.

It's a busy day here with yoga later for unwinding purposes. I'm listening to the First Minister's briefing and it seems that the Christmas amnesty is to go ahead despite the warnings of so many medical experts. I kind of understand the reasoning at this late stage but I think the whole thing has been an error. We're trying to work out a way of seeing our three grandchildren, briefly and safely.
