party animal

It was Christmas party day for Isaac at JoJo’s. He came back full of beans and carrying a package of gingerbread.

Antony encouraged me out to the pool at lunchtime (more good movement for the injured foot) and it was utterly brilliant to move and chat briefly to a friend there. Work feels very quiet this week so I didn’t feel like it was the usual challenge to get away from my desk. Hurrah for Christmas creating a natural lull in workflow.

Gratefuls:

1. Watching Eve swim;
2. Isaac’s gingerbread;
3. Eve sharing her school life really openly - being in y4 is not without challenge but I’m so glad she talks!.
