Evening silhouette

I took Coda for a last  walk and swim in the sea this evening,  
From tomorrow (16th) all the beaches in the Eastern Cape and the Garden route are closed until 3rd January.
Cape Town and Kwa Zulu Natal beaches are open except on public holidays. This is a tough new restriction as we experience the second wave of the Covid pandemic.
The tourist industry is in tatters as people from inland will cancel their seaside holiday bookings.
I guess this is the price we have to pay because so many people are not adhering to the Covid protocol.
Even our lovely Sacramento trail is closed. Not sure about the other trails around here....
Oh well, a quiet Christmas ahead for sure.
