The Healthy Option
I stumbled across a shop/restaurant at Canonmills today on my way to the post office. A notice on the doorstep offering fresh blood oranges from Sicily lured me into the shop (I inevitably bought some). Once inside, I was greeted with this magnificent and inviting scene of fresh, organic fruit and veg superbly displayed. Not only that, there was a brasserie-style restaurant which seemed to be doing a roaring trade and, judging by the menu, I could quite see why. I'll definitely revisit Earthy Canonmills again and spend more time mooching about.
As is often the case when blipping, it's been a feast or famine experience over the past couple of days. Yesterday, admittedly I was rushing about somewhat, but I felt I was short of inspiration; today there seemed to be too much. After the 'Earthy' experience, I came across the cobbled road near my office being re-layed. I was fascinated by the technique, which I hadn't seen before and for a change I was pleased to be able to ask the guy laying the stones if he minded me capturing a few images of him working - a perfect excuse to linger watching the painstaking work. This too was a strong contender for blipping. However, eventually, and after much deliberation, I decided I would opt for a yummy blip. I hope you like it.
