Going for Gold

Wow, what a difference a day makes! North winds are howling making this cold December day feel like 12f/-11c • Birds were out early gripping swinging suet and seed feeders. I caught this sweet little goldfinch in the morning light waiting his turn • While MrsP made a few phone calls, I made our last Post Office visit of the year mailing out a package to some favorite fur friends and a few more Christmas cards • One of our traditions is watching a favorite holiday movie each night. Last night it was Polar Express, the night before A Christmas Story, before that A Bishop’s Wife, While You Were Sleeping, Family Stone, and The Holiday. I wonder what will be playing tonight? • A big East Coast storm moves in tomorrow and Thursday. We are happy to hear the most snow will fall south of us. Our forecast is 1-3”; not too small, not too big, it’s just right. I guess you could call it a Goldilocks storm ;)
