Yew tree in Stedham

This yew tree is one of the oldest in the country. It stands in St James church and is reputed to be 2,500 years old. I can hardly believe it is that old. It must have so many memories!! It is almost completely hollow inside.

There is a Lipizzaner stud farm at Stedham and we saw some beautiful white horses in the fields.
