Mud

The dead canal run is really slippery. Tried it in trail shoes today. Brought the jeopardy level down from suicidal to entertaining.

Really down about the dog but feeling more optimistic now. There are always Labradoodles and even big poodles. Probably not as rescue dogs though. Will just have to get over my inverted snobbery about Rescue Mongrels being the best dogs.

If it ends up being a poodle, we will go the whole hog and call him Cecil. He will be the roughest, toughest poodle in the world!
