My mum

Today's theme for the challenge was "A portrait of someone you admire or a portrait of your pet". I admire D. but will not post a photo of her here.
Another person I admire was my mother. She raised 8 children and really had a lot of work with that. But she managed it pretty well.
The painting here was made by D., after a picture of my mum and dad when they were in their mid-thirties. She had already all 8 children at that time.
