Nice problem to have

The new chickens are tatty, manky, shabby, half plucked, and generally not very good looking. They looked warn out and broken. However they are chucking out eggs like there is no tomorrow. 
We got the four new, ex battery birds just over a week ago. We have had eggs from them every day, usually three, sometimes four, sometime two. A couple of days ago we got five and today we had six. 
Maybe I am collecting at different times and I get some from yesterday as well as today. What ever the reason the girls are doing us proud.
Hopefully Father Christmas will bring me a bigger egg holder for Christmas
