Changeable

What a funny old day, constantly changing from heavy rain to clear blue skies. Started out delivering cards in the bright sunshine, ended it in a downpour. Started off a run the bright sunshine....you can guess the rest. 

I'm having Mondays off at the moment as there simply isn't a sustained amount of work for us in schools. Mid-week days off will never not feel extremely naughty. 

Hibernation mode continues. One of the young people on Friday said that she'd heard that humans are actually well suited to hibernation. Not sure about the biology behind it but I'm fairly certain I could eat a substantial amount of mince pies and sleep it off for the rest of winter.
