Dullstroom after a storm

It is mid-term break time at school and Charmaine & Ronnie grabbed the opportunity to break away for a few days, all on their own, for the first time since their honeymoon more than 21 years ago.

This picture was taken from the verandah of their chalet in Dullstroom, directly after quite a nice storm! They say it is so refreshingly cool there, they can't even imagine how h-ll hot it is here at home!

Enjoy every moment my dearest children, you deserve this break after all the sacrifices you had to make when I was so sick! I appreciate all the love and dedication bestowed on me right through the six month ordeal. I hope to be 'strong' enough to join you again on adventures in a year's time!! ;-)
