Hubble bubble

I made the Christmas cake today after being unable to find a suitable one in the shops.

I got the recipe from the internet, and wrote down all the ingredients so as not to have to keep faffing with my phone while measuring stuff out. Weirdly, I managed to miss out some ingredients.

As I was mixing the rum-soaked fruit and plain flour together, I thought it strange that there were no spices in the recipe, so I added cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. However, I did not think about raising agents; it’ll be a dense cake. But at least it should taste nice.
