Advent candles

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is the lighting of Advent candles at the dinner table during the Advent season. The first week, the light of one candle does not seem very Christmassy. The next week, two candles add an intimate atmosphere. Today we lit the third candle and it really brightened up the dark evening. Next week we will be in full celebration mode!
