A wet stormy day

And a day to light the woodburner early and sit by the fire all afternoon and evening!  The family came to a roast lunch (lamb) and we had a cosy time until they had to go and feed the calves on their way home.  The carol service was to be held this afternoon in the community field, the organisers are now hoping the weather will be kind enough for next Sunday.  What will be will be.
