Bloomin" Marvelous

We have had more frosts this winter in this part of southern England than for many a long year. Both the beautiful magnolia which towers over this camelia and this shrub itself, react badly to late frosts and we have had these this year too.

.....but this little bloom hidden away under stiff leaves has managed to escape most of Jack Frosts destructive nips - and remained graceful and swan-like.
