It's beginning to look a lot ....

It's rained all day so mrsfb has been writing her cards, I've been getting stuff down from the loft. The wreath was easy but I'm not looking forward to the tree. I suggested we didn't bother if the lights didn't work, but they do. Oh well.

Had a Skype with daughter#2. She has moved house over the weekend, from France just over the border to Germany. She really doesn't know how this Brexit nonsense is going to work out. Her French citizenship application was looking like it was months away, but her boyfriend/fiancé couldn't stay in France after he joined the Luftwaffe who are sponsoring him through uni. So she has moved and will probably have to become a German in due course. She really really wanted to be French having lived and worked there for so long. I guess she stops being a European in January though, no matter what happens. Just to complicate matters I keep forgetting I am Irish as my Dad was from Dublin. Perhaps I could throw that into the mix.
