The "Landyman"

This our youngest grandson who is now almost 14 months.  He is a desert baby so that beautiful greenery he is sitting on is actually newly installed,  very fine artificial turf, as lawns are not allowed in Las Vegas.

He is a bit slow with walking, but so was his father.  He sucks his thumb, just like his father as well.  We FaceTime with him a few times a week and he seems to recognize us as he always beams when we pop up on the screen.  He is learning various parts of his body, and in this picture his mother has asked him where his hand is. A genius, for sure!  It is excruciating not to see him.

The news of a vaccine rollout is very encouraging.  It will take quite a while to reach 70% of the population but it is finally a sign that we will eventually get back to some new sense of normal life.  The states will get allocations every week so hopefully, manufacturing will be able to keep up with demand.  We still have to get through this very dark time, however with cases still surging from Thanksgiving, but there is a distant light.  Meanwhile, we just keep doing what we are doing.
