The Holly bears wet berries!

I popped into the garden before church and whilst it was still just wet not horribly wet! There are some berries on the holly at the top of the back garden but nothing like the profusion of previous years. So a quick snap blip find.

After church, when everyone else had left, the choir members stayed behind and recorded ‘Once in Royal David’s City’. We were well spread around the church to ensure safety. It may be played at the beginning of our Zoom 9 carols and lessons service this evening.  The song we recorded last week in the field behind our choir master S’s house has come out really well and will be over if a United Benefice service on the Sunday after  Christmas. I’m very impressed with S’s technical skills!

Got soaked walking home from church but it was nice to see real people and they third Advent candle being lit.
