Added:   Ho Chi Minh worked as a pastry chef on the Newhaven Dieppe ferries.  In those days, Newhaven was home to quayside hotels catering to the well off who wanted a cross channel jaunt to spend the weekend in the ships' casinos. 

The plaque was given by the Vietnamese government in 2013.
