In The Pink

Well, just as freezing cold here today as yesterday, but feeling a bit stir-crazy, I wrapped up warm, went into town and looked around the market for some fruit.

I have two favourite fruits; mango and raspberries, properly ripe versions of which are not easily found in England in winter.

Imagine my delight when I came upon a sea of raspberries! The stall-holder let me taste a couple and I bought two of these boxfuls.

It is good to be back in the warm again. I have a bowl of the raspberries gently coming to room temperature - then I'll be eating them with yoghurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
